A real-looking pack of gum. Someone pulls a stick, and a rubber cockroach snaps out at their fingers. Ten packs, so you can run it on every guest at the party and still have a few for the office on Monday.
Spring-loaded, reusable, and the roach is soft rubber, so the only casualty is dignity.
